This is the new Contour Rubber Backing Pad to be used with the Heavy Duty Sanding Discs.  Comes with 2 Flanges and 2 Screws.

You may want to consider getting a couple (or more) of these to avoid changing discs often.  Because the backing pad is soft and flexible, you may use on curved surfaces.

The key to long life of the sanding discs is the speed in which they are used.  This sanding system works great and therefore even with slower speeds you get fantastic results.  Consequently your dics will last longer.
