The 1” Flexcut Pro Chip Carving Knife features a full flat grind, deep angle chip carving blade in precision heat treated 1095 steel, polished to a brilliant mirror finish. This knife excels at making the controlled plunge cuts needed for many chip carving styles. The deep angle of the blade, shorter choil length, and narrow tapered detail tip provides the leverage and accuracy needed for the most detailed chip carving cuts. Note: A great chip knife has many purposes. Not just chip carvers us this style of knife. Relief projects and in the round carvers will benefit greatly from a study chip style blade.

The roughing knife is created to remove material faster, due to the longer blade length and width . The blade is 2″ long and about 0.5″ wide. Perfect for larger projects and more advanced carvers.
