The industrial grade of tungsten carbide teeth will cut through wire nails without a hiccup. If you happen to hit something harder, there is no need to stop and resharpen the tooth – you simply rotate the tooth for a fresh cutting edge.
Tip!
The high tinsel screws that attached the round teeth are self-tightening …that means the more you use the tool, the tighter the teeth will become. In fact, if you don’t loosen them every so often you will have great difficulty in loosening them in the future.
The solid steel body has a thick rim and chip-limitation design to ensure a smooth but fast cutting action. Arbor is 7/8″ with a 5/8″ bushing. The Kit includes a blade guard made from a tough polycarbonate material and a fixing key. The Blade is also available without the guard, but we recommend using the guard at all times. The grinder must have an auxiliary handle and metal guard.
