Pfeil Swiss Made Tools are know for their quality and their knives share a similar reputation.
While all of the chisels and gouges come extremely sharp and ready to use, it’s a different story for their knives. We are not sure “why” but Pfeil knives come to us in a “needy situation”!
But don’t you worry because WE FINISH THE JOB FOR YOU! We strop, polish and re-grind (if necessary) EVERY PFEIL SWISS MADE KNIFE before it leaves our shop
Abegglen Detail Knives
The Abegglen are detail knives and have two cutting edges. One side with round cutting edge and the other side with hollow cutting edge. They will make deep cuts, but also great for letters and ornaments.
The Schaller and Canard knives have a crowned blade. The back is also rounded so that it does not contact the work therefore they can be used to carver concave curves and flat surfaces.
The Brienz knives have a skewed edge and are very popular .
