Our DockYard Tool Sharpener Slip Strop will keep your DockYard and similar Micro Carving Tools in top shape. Made from domestic cherry wood, the strop is molded for use with Gouges and V-tools. Use on gouge widths of 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm. In addition to V-tools with widths of 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm in 90 degree angles. Use with 3mm v-tools with 75 degree also. The Slip Strop and Compound come packaged in a Denim pouch with Velcro closure.
Applying the Compound
Simply apply the compound that comes with the slip strop directly to the wood. Use the handy brush to apply the compound. You may also use our Red Compound as a base coat and then apply a coat of our Green Compound over the Red.
