Merlin2 QC Surface Conditioning Disc Set  (QC indicates “quick change”)

Our Surface Conditioning Quick Change Discs are made up of an open nylon web.  They are impregnated with abrasive grains and attach to our Quick Change Backing Pad (10091).   Because the pad is affixed to a plastic male thread it easily locks to the backing pad.  Locking takes only a one-half turn.  Furthermore, it is quickly removed with a half turn in the opposite direction.

In addition, they are an ideal first-step for cleaning, blending, deburring, and finishing.  The open-web material runs cool and resists loading to enable prolonged operation.   They produce consistent finishing because of the evenly distributed aluminum oxide abrasives

These discs are ideal for applications requiring a uniformly smooth finish.  They are therefore perfect for hard to reach surfaces.  Great also for odd angles and a wide variety of woodworking applications.  Merlin2 Conditioning Disc Set provides additional strength for of all types of applications. This Set includes three 2″ (50mm) Discs:  coarse, medium and fine.
